Andrew Trask performs patent prosecution, litigation support, due diligence, and strategic counseling for clients in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology fields. His practice includes developing and managing patent portfolios in fields such as medicinal chemistry, solid-state pharmaceutics, formulation development, and other areas of drug discovery and development. Representative clients include Ambit Biosciences, AstraZeneca, Celgene, MedImmune, and Sepracor.

Andrew previously worked as a researcher at Pfizer Global R&D, where he was a co-inventor on several patents pertaining to preformulation and dosage form aspects of development candidates. As a Ph.D. candidate at the University of Cambridge, he was awarded the Lowry Prize for the top graduate research seminar in physical chemistry. Andrew has coauthored more than a dozen peer-reviewed scientific publications and has presented at several international conferences.
