At Kestenbaum, Eisner & Gorin, LLP, a Southern California criminal defense law firm, our attorneys, with combined criminal law experience of over 50 years, exclusively practice criminal defense. We represent people charged with or being investigated for crimes, including general criminal offenses, both misdemeanors and felonies, DUI, white collar crimes, domestic violence, sex crimes, juvenile crimes, drug crimes, and theft. Mr. David Kestenbaum is a former Senior Criminal Prosecutor who has practiced criminal law daily since 1979. He trained and supervised prosecutors in the Van Nuys Courthouse before leaving to private practice. Mr. Alan Eisner is a Certified Specialist in Criminal Defense as recognized by the State Bar of California and has 20 years of criminal defense experience. He has litigated over 100 felony trials as well as numerous complex cases in the Federal Court. Based on his experience and professionalism, federal judges have named Mr. Eisner to the Federal Bar Panel and frequently appoint him to represent defendants in federal court. Mr. Dmitry Gorin retired from the Los Angeles County District Attorneys Office after 12 years of extensive trial experience. He has litigated everything from Death Penalty murder cases to complex fraud cases, being nominated Prosecutor of the Month several times. Many of his cases have been profiled in the media including ABC, NBC, Court-TV and others. Mr. Gorin is also a Professor at Pepperdine and UCLA, teaching courses to undergraduates and law students on jury trial advocacy, public speaking, and comparative trial systems. Our firm also has a licensed investigator on the premises who assists in aggressively defending clients accused of crimes.

At Kestenbaum, Eisner & Gorin LLP, you will only meet and be represented by one of the firm's partners. We do not have an officer manager or new attorneys assisting you in court. Because we have worked as senior prosecutors for many years in the San Fernando Valley, we are able to aggressively defend our clients BEFORE the Court date, through immediate contact with law enforcement and the prosecutor's office BEFORE charges are filed. Our main office is located across the street from the Van Nuys Courthouse.

Boykoff Investigations

Joining the team in 2003, David Boykoff, the President of Boykoff Investigations, is located on site. This allows him to be available immediately to begin work on your case, often before the police are done. It is a well-known fact that witnesses can be swayed or intimidated by the police, and our ability to get recorded statements or physical evidence early in an investigation can prevent that from happening. Witnesses often lose their memory or change their position, so memorializing their statements early is imperative to a successful defense.
