Michael R. Adams joined Montfort, Healy, McGuire & Salley as an Associate in February, 2004. Prior to that, he worked as a trial attorney handling negligence defense matter for the Law Office of Richard J. Baldwin in Hauppauge, New York for a period of nearly fourteen years. Mike graduated from Syracuse University in 1973 with a B.A. in American Studies, and he received a J.D. from the University of Baltimore Law School in 1978. While in law school, he was employed by Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Maryland as a legal coordinator of worker's compensation matters. His legal experience after law school included positions as a trial attorney for the United States Department of Labor in Manhattan, as a senior associate for the firm of Rivkin, Radler, Dunne and Bayh in Uniondale, New York; and as an Assistant Attorney General for the New York Attorney General's Office.
