Ms. Spiegel earned a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations from Boston University. She earned her law degree from Temple University's Beasley School of Law, where she was an editor of the Temple Law Review. She is admitted to practice in Washington and Pennsylvania as well as in federal court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania and the Western District of Washington. Her publications include an article on ineffective assistance of counsel at death penalty sentencing. Ms. Spiegel also taught "Business Law" to undergraduates at a North Carolina college. Ms. Spiegel is currently serving as a board member of MAMAS, a resource and support organization for working mother attorneys in Seattle.
