She has advised developers, financial institutions, and other participants in a wide range of energy transactions involving the acquisition, sale, development, construction, and financing of wind, biomass, thermosolar, cogeneration, and other renewable energy projects.

She also has significant experience with the financing of infrastructure projects, such as highways and hotels; securitization matters as they relate to Spanish transactions structured through Spanish funds, as well as cross-border securitization transactions structured through special purpose vehicles (SPVs); and the restructuring of distressed multinational corporations.

Vanessa's recent experience includes advising Banco de Saballel, S.A. on the €38 million ($53.7 million) project financing for the construction, set-up, and operation of the 20 MW increase in power of the Quintanilla wind park located in Burgos, Spain and advising Parque de Generacion Eolica, S.L and Caja de Ahorros y Monte de Piedad de Madrid in connection with the €92 million ($133.9 million) project financing for the construction and operation of a section of Highway A-2, Section R2 LP Soria/Guadalajara, promoted by the Ministerio de Fomento.
