John Evans practices intellectual property law, with a primary focus on patent litigation. John has experience in a number of federal district courts and appellate courts, as well as Section 337 investigations before the International Trade Commission for both complainants and respondents.
John's experience covers many fields, including medical device, chemical compositions, and software and semiconductor technology. Representative clients include DePuy Spine, Gillette, IBM, Procter & Gamble, SanDisk Corporation, J.M. Smucker Company, and VIZIO.
Prior to law school, John obtained his Ph.D. in biophysics at the University of Michigan. John performed research in the fields of structural biology and X-ray protein crystallography and solved several novel crystal structures of enzymes involved in methionine biosynthesis and homocysteine metabolism.
