Javier's practice focuses on labor law, and he has participated in the labor law aspects in merger and acquisitions. He advises on administrative proceedings related to labor and social security issues and advises on employment contracts, including those of executives. In addition, Javier works with the telecommunications practice, advising on issues relating to data protection, intellectual property, e-commerce, and technology.

Before joining Jones Day in 2006, Javier worked at Landwell (the law firm associated with PricewaterhouseCoopers). He is a member of the Madrid Bar Association.
