Lawyer Overview

Martin Freed, of counsel to the firm at its Chicago office, focuses his practice in two areas, real estate and corporate matters. He has experience in commercial real estate, multi-family, industrial and office property purchases, sales, leasing, and financing (including FNMA and conventional), development (including private offerings, zoning and construction) and real estate litigation. His corporate experience includes asset and stock sales; financing (including sale and leaseback and equipment leasing); reorganizations; UCC sales and secured transaction matters; partnership formation and dissolution. Recently, he has been directly involved in preparing and presenting applications for Womens Business Enterprise and Minority Business Enterprise certification to state and local agencies.
