Lawyer Overview

Shannon Cross was born in Norwood, Massachusetts in 1979. After living in several states, Shannon's family settled in Pine Beach, New Jersey. Shannon graduated from Toms River High School South in 1997 where she was a member of both the varsity basketball and softball teams, as well as a member of the Marching Indians Band. She then attended James Madison University, earning a Bachelor's degree in Political Science with a minor in Spanish in 2000. During her tenure at James Madison, she was member of the James Madison University Honors Program, Pi Sigma Alpha National Political Science Honor Society and Mortar Board National Honor Society.

Upon graduation, Shannon enrolled at Stetson University College of Law located in St. Petersburg, Florida. During that time, she served as an intern in the legal division of Danka Office Products headquartered in St. Petersburg, Florida. She also served as a Law Clerk in the Law Firm of Lorrier and Schurfranz located in Bradenton, Florida. In addition, Shannon was selected for membership in the International Legal Fraternity of Phi Delta Phi and was an active member of Phi Alpha Delta, Law Fraternity International.

Upon graduating cum laude from Stetson in 2004, Shannon was admitted to the New Jersey Bar, Florida Bar and the United States District Court, District of New Jersey. Shannon began her family law practice with the Lorrier and Schurfranz firm in Bradenton, Florida before joining Novins, York, Pagano, Jacobus & Seems in 2007.

Shannon's extensive practice includes Matrimonial and Family Law, Municipal Court Litigation and General Litigation. She is a member of the Ocean County Bar Association, New Jersey State Bar Association and American Bar Association.
