Lawyer Overview
Stefanie Stöhr has extensive experience in the field of cross-border and domestic mergers and acquisitions, venture capital, and private equity investments as well as corporate and commercial law. Her industry focus is in the life sciences area, and she has advised numerous companies and investors in this sector during financing rounds.
After practising as a lawyer in the tax department of a Big Four company for two and half years, Stefanie worked with one of the top German law firms for five years, where she became a partner in 2002. Prior to joining Jones Day in 2006, Stefanie was a cofounder of a Germany-based law firm with offices in Munich, Duesseldorf, and Tokyo. During this period, Stefanie worked partly in their Tokyo office and gained in-depth experience in advising Japanese clients.
