Lawyer Overview

Claudia's practice focuses on international arbitration and German litigation. She specializes in civil and commercial proceedings before international arbitral institutions and German courts. She has been admitted to the Frankfurt court since 1995.

Before joining Jones Day in 2001 she worked as a salaried partner for the law firm Coudert Brothers (formerly Schürmann & Partner) and was managing partner of the Leipzig office of Schürmann & Partner from 1996 to 1999.

Claudia is currently working on various international arbitrations in the commercial, corporate, and general contracting areas, including injunctive and enforcement proceedings.

Claudia is a delegated member of the American Chamber of Commerce in Leipzig and was a lecturer at the Bankakademie (the leading bank training and consultancy institute in Germany) from 1997 to 1999.
