Dr. Hülsdunk's practice focuses on complex transactions in the real estate sector. He advises international investors, mainly from the U.K., Ireland, and the U.S., on all aspects of their investments in German real estate. He has extensive experience in the acquisition and disposal of commercial properties (including office and retail buildings), light industrial and logistics properties, hotels, and residential portfolios. He and his team also assist investors with the active management and optimization of their portfolios, including lease negotiations and the coordination of litigious matters.
In addition, Dr. Hülsdunk has substantial experience relating to the acquisition of commercial properties in special situations from debtors, insolvency administrators, and in compulsory auction proceedings.
In the field of corporate real estate services, Dr. Hülsdunk represents major corporations in their real estate requirements, including the strategic alignment of real estate portfolios, headquarter developments and leases, sale and leaseback transactions, as well as facility management agreements and outsourcing projects. Having worked for several years as a transactional lawyer in the technology sector, he is particularly well-placed in meeting the demands of high-tech companies in property matters.
