Phillip Georgiou is a construction lawyer whose experience spans the entire spectrum of construction and engineering matters. He represents an international range of clients, including government bodies, statutory corporations, port operators, airlines, rail companies, oil and gas companies, independent power producers, real estate developers, owners and operators of manufacturing plants and facilities, main contractors, subcontractors, and insurers. He is involved in projects across the globe, including in North Asia, Southeast Asia, India, the Middle East, North Africa, Central America, and Australia.

Phillip has substantial experience in negotiating and drafting complex contractual project documentation and in assisting and advising clients on legal issues that arise during the course of projects. He represents clients involved in litigation, arbitration, and various forms of alternative dispute resolution and prosecutes and defends charges arising from contravention of construction-related legislation and regulations.

Phillip is an active participant in the Hong Kong construction industry as a committee member of the British Chamber of Commerce Construction Industry Group, member of the Lighthouse Club (a construction industry charity), and member of the Hong Kong Society of Construction Law. He is a regular speaker at construction industry organizations, including the Hong Kong Construction Association, the Institute of Engineers Hong Kong Chapter, and the Institution of Civil Engineering Surveyors. Phillip also develops and provides clients with in-house workshops to discuss legal issues and problems that arise in construction projects.
