Lawyer Overview

Phillip Georgiou is a construction lawyer whose experience spans the entire spectrum of construction and engineering matters.

Phillip represents an international range of clients, including government bodies, statutory corporations, port operators, airlines, rail companies, oil & gas companies, independent power producers, real estate developers, owners and operators of manufacturing plants and facilities, main contractors, subcontractors, and insurers. He is involved in projects across the globe, including North Asia, Southeast Asia, India, the Middle East, North Africa, Central America, and Australia.

He has substantial experience in negotiating and drafting complex contractual project documentation and in assisting and advising clients on legal issues that arise during the course of projects. He represents clients involved in litigation, arbitration, and various forms of alternative dispute resolution and prosecutes and defends charges arising from contraventions of construction-related legislation and regulations.
