Lawyer Overview

Laura practices in the areas of corporate finance, corporate governance, and general corporate law. She has represented issuers in public and private offerings of debt and equity securities, exchange offers, tender offers, and rights offerings. She also has worked on merger and acquisition transactions, restructurings, and reorganizations. Recently, Laura has worked on transactions involving Bridgestone Americas Holding, Exide Technologies, NACCO Industries, OGE Energy and its subsidiaries, R.H. Donnelley Corporation, USG Corporation, and Xcel Energy and its utility subsidiaries.

Laura also advises public companies on compliance with corporate governance issues and reporting obligations under the U.S. federal securities laws (including the Sarbanes-Oxley Act) and stock exchange rules and other general corporate matters.

She is a member of The Chicago Bar Association, the Illinois State Bar Association, and the State Bar of Wisconsin.
