Lawyer Overview

Laura DeLong represents lenders and public and private corporate clients in lending and debt placement transactions. She has experience in a variety of commercial lending transactions, including secured and unsecured credit facilities, syndicated and single-lender credit facilities, and senior and subordinated credit facilities, and in acquisition-related financings and leveraged equity sponsor financings.

Prior to entering law school, Laura worked as an investment banking analyst with Morgan Stanley where she performed financial modeling and valuation analyses, conducted due diligence, and executed M&A and capital raising transactions. She also worked as an investor relations consultant where she advised public and private clients on institutional targeting and corporate communications strategies. In 2006, she served as the Jones Day loaned executive for the United Way of Greater Cleveland. Laura serves on the cabinet of GeneratioNext for the Cuyahoga County United Way and is a member of the Associate Committee for the Jones Day United Way Campaign. She is a member of the American Bar Association, the Ohio State Bar Association, and Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association.
