Steve Bittence's practice involves representation of developers in the development, financing, leasing, purchasing, and selling of commercial, industrial, and residential real estate. Steve also represents corporations whose core business is outside the real estate industry in the leasing, acquisition, and disposition of real property in connection with mergers and acquisitions and expansions and relocations. In addition, Steve has been involved in the formation and structuring of closely held business entities for the purpose of ongoing real estate development.

Prior to earning his law degree, Steve worked as a project manager and engineer in commercial construction where he participated in all phases of construction from design to warranty service. He also has experience with residential construction.

Steve is a member of the Ohio State Bar Association and the Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association. Steve volunteers for the Greater Cleveland Council of Boy Scouts of America, serving on the Properties Committee. He is also a member of the board of the Friends of Tinnerman/Tinnerman Guide Association, a nonprofit organization that assists the Greater Cleveland Council Boy Scouts in the operation of Tinnerman Wilderness Canoe Base in Ontario, Canada.
