Andy Bengtson has a wide range of experience in commercial real estate transactions, including joint venture formation, real estate finance, and acquisition and disposition of hotels, shopping centers, apartments, and office buildings located throughout the United States. Andy has experience representing borrowers in CMBS and other types of real estate financing transactions, and he also has represented Firm clients in the real estate aspects of merger and acquisition transactions and corporate real estate service matters.

Representative transactions include several with Morgan Stanley, such as the $6.5 billion buyout of Crescent Real Estate Equities, the $1.5 billion buyout of Town & Country Trust, and the $525 million acquisition of 11,000 homesites from Lennar Corp. Andy also has represented the Black Creek Group, Developers Diversified Realty, Prime Property Fund, Pyramid Hotel Opportunity Venture Funds, and The Riverside Company.

Andy is a member of the State Bar of Texas and the Dallas Bar Association.
