Lawyer Overview

Ross Barr's practice focuses on bankruptcy and business restructuring. He has provided restructuring advice to clients such as, among others, Independence Air, U.S. Silica Co., and Oceans Casino Cruises.

In addition, he regularly represents other constituencies in chapter 11 proceedings, including creditors, official and informal committees, and prospective acquirors. Ross has represented various constituencies in high-profile chapter 11 proceedings, such as those of Adelphia Communications and Enron.

Upon graduation from law school, Ross was Georgetown University Law Center's annual recipient of the American Bankruptcy Institute Medal for Excellence in Bankruptcy Studies.
