Lawyer Overview

Adrian's main areas of practice are general corporate and commercial law. He has advised on a variety of matters, including corporate finance, public offerings, mergers and acquisitions, management buyouts, the sale and purchase of businesses and assets, joint ventures, and due diligence investigations. In addition, Adrian has advised many leading merchant banks in the field of capital markets.

Adrian's experience includes acting for:

• a global telecommunications company in its acquisition of telecommunication companies in Romania and the Czech Republic and its sale of its Swedish business

• the parent company of a major hotel chain in its sale of 73 hotels in the U.K.

• a prominent soft drink company in its listing on the London Stock Exchange

• a leading Malaysian bank in its acquisition of a stake in an Indonesian bank and

• various merchant banks in the issue of secured, credit-linked notes.

Prior to joining Jones Day, he worked at the London and Singapore offices of Linklaters. He speaks English and Mandarin and some Hainanese.
