Lawyer Overview

Ozan Akyurek practices in the area of commercial litigation and arbitration, with a focus on transnational commercial law. He also has experience in product liability and legal risks regarding economic activities as well as in business criminal cases.

Ozan has appeared as counsel before various French courts and has advised clients from a number of cultural and geographical backgrounds. He has notably advised clients in disputes involving common and civil laws, including the laws of the United States, the United Kingdom, Spain, and Turkey. His recent experience includes advice to clients in sectors such as the airline, IT, equipment, transport, and packaging industries.

Prior to joining Jones Day in 2004, Ozan practiced for two years in the litigation and arbitration department of an international law firm in Paris and London.
