Lawyer Overview

Christopher Amar practices civil litigation in matters before federal and state courts at the trial level. His experience includes representing corporate and individual clients on a variety of matters, including insurance coverage, real estate transactions, and corporate disputes. He also has experience assisting clients in civil investigations initiated by the government, and has conducted an internal investigation for a company arising out of alleged violations of the Anti-Kickback Act.

During law school, Christopher served as executive editor of the Virginia Tax Review and was a Hardy Cross Dillard Fellow. While in law school, he also earned an M.A. in American legal history.

Prior to law school, Christopher was an AmeriCorps volunteer. From 1997 to 1999, he was director of the St. James Homeless Shelter in Cambridge, MA.
