Law Firm Overview

In 2004, two experienced attorneys, Olufemi Salu and Abimbola Salu, with a combined professional experience in excess of 40 years, decided to pool their resources together to form a law firm with a view of providing qualitative legal services to the people of North Mississippi and Memphis, Tennessee.

The firm, Salu & Salu Law Firm, a professional limited liability corporation, started small but grew rapidly and now has offices in Clarksdale and Southaven, Mississippi. In addition, the firm operates an international office in Lagos, Nigeria, making it the only North American firm with an office in Sub-Saharan Africa.

Our core area of practice is Personal Injury and we represent plaintiffs in the vast majority of cases. The firm has achieved remarkable successes in negotiating settlements with insurance companies on behalf of injured plaintiffs without filing lawsuits. We do not hesitate in filing lawsuits if it is necessary to protect an injured client. Our style of combining negotiated settlements without lawsuits, mediation, and filing lawsuits as a last resort, has led to the rapid growth of our client base. The firm not only represents clients in Mississippi and Tennessee but has represented injured clients from California, Georgia, Kentucky, Texas, Louisiana, Arkansas and from countries outside the United States like Mexico, Nigeria, Senegal, Pakistan and India.
