Bryan J. Nowlin focuses his practice in the areas of Trusts, Estates, and Probate, Business Litigation, and Indian Law. As part of the Trusts and Creditors Rights practice group he served as first chair counsel in a construction arbitration before the American Arbitration Association, as well as multiple appearances in state and federal courts in Oklahoma. As part of his trust practice he participated in a trial which resulted in a rare dismissal for the Firm's client at the close of the plaintiff's evidence. Mr. Nowlin regularly speaks at seminars regarding the law relating to business in Indian Country including serving as a panelist during the American Indian Chamber of Commerce Business Summit. He also participates in the Firm's representation of electrical utilities.    A Native Oklahoman, Mr. Nowlin is a 2002 graduate magna cum laude of Boston College in Chestnut Hill, Massachusetts with majors in History and Political Science. His undergraduate research honors thesis focused on the constitutional infirmities within Weimar Germany as measured by the instability of the first three democratic cabinets. Mr. Nowlin received his Juris Doctor with distinction in 2006 from the University of Oklahoma College of Law. While at the College of Law Mr. Nowlin served as editor-in-chief of the American Indian Law Review. As editor-in-chief he greatly increased the number of tenured professors publishing with the Law Review. Mr. Nowlin also participated in two national moot court competitions, the Tulane Sports Law Competition in 2005 and the National Entertainment Law Competition in 2004 at which his brief placed first in the nation.    Mr. Nowlin is a member of the American Bar Association, Oklahoma Bar Association, and Tulsa County Bar Association. At the ABA he is a member of the Trust and Fiduciary Litigation Committee of the ABA's Real Property Section.  Mr. Nowlin also presently serves on the Oklahoma Bar Association Civil Procedure and Evidence Committee.
