David W. Haber began his legal career as an Assistant District Attorney in the Nassau County District Attorney's Office. As an A.D.A., he successfully litigated many Misdemeanor and Felony jury trials, bench trials, as well as Grand Jury presentations. After successfully prosecuting tens of thousands of criminal cases, including Criminal Possession of a Weapon, Assault, DWI, Suspended License, Forgery, Burglary, Robbery, Grand and Petit Larceny, he left the Nassau County District Attorney's Office. In 2003, he joined the civil litigation firm O'Connor, O'Connor, Hintz & Deveney, LLP. As an associate with OOH&D, he handled negligence cases ranging from Motor Vehicle/Motorcycle Accidents, Product Liability, Medical Malpractice, Wrongful Death, Trip/Slip and Fall, and Premises liability. In February of 2006, David Haber opened his Woodbury office, concentrating in Criminal Defense and Plaintiff's Personal Injury matters. Former prosecutor David Haber personally handles all criminal matters in the office. David Haber and his wife, Donna Stefans, who is an Elder Law, Estate Planning and Medicaid attorney, are Long Island natives.
