Lawyer Overview
Jenny L. Womack has practiced law in Texas since receiving her law license in November 1998. Prior to completing law school, Ms. Womack spent three years in the brokerage business, an experience she has found invaluable in her family law practice. Since 1998, Ms. Womack has handled hundreds of family law cases, including divorce, adoption, parentage, child custody and child support modifications. Ms. Womack has also assisted her clients with simple estate planning, including simple wills, directives to physicians, and various powers of attorney.
Ms. Womack has received both basic mediation training and basic and advanced collaborative law training. She is currently an officer of Collaborative Law Dallas, a group of collaborative law attorneys in Dallas County, as well as a member of the Collaborative Law Institute of Texas and the International Association of Collaborative Professionals.
In 2004, Ms. Womack was invited to join the American Academy of Adoption Attorneys, a prestigious organization of adoption attorneys across the United States and Canada. Locally, Ms. Womack is a member of the Dallas Bar Association as well as serving as a director on the board of the Dallas Association of Young Lawyers (DAYL) and as a director on the board of the Dallas Women Lawyers Association. She has served as a co-chairperson of the DAYL's Lawyers for Children committee, Solo/Small Firm committee, and Law Student Assistance committee, and is currently a co-chair of the Animal Welfare committee. For the past three years, Ms. Womack also served as the Volunteer Coordinator for the Freedom Run and Festival, held in honor of the September 11th tragedies. Ms. Womack is a long time North Dallas resident and is an active member of her church, Fellowship Bible Church North in Plano, Texas.
