Ms. Lucas received her B.A. magna cum laude from Barnard College, Columbia University in 2000 and her J.D. in 2003 from the University of Virginia School of Law, where she served as senior notes editor of the Virginia Tax Review and Student Bar Association vice president, was a member of the university's Honor Committee and participated in the Prosecution Clinic.
Prior to joining McCorriston Miller Mukai MacKinnon LLP, Ms. Lucas was an associate in the New York City office of Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld LLP and clerked for the Honorable Frances Q.F. Wong, Senior Family Court and Deputy Chief Judge of the First Circuit Court, State of Hawaii.
Ms. Lucas is a member of the New York Bar and Hawaii Bar and is admitted to practice before the U.S. District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York and the District of Hawaii, and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit.
