Lawyer Overview
Christiane Pöppelmann has broad experience in real estate and finance matters, particularly in real estate finance transactions, providing services to lenders and borrowers. In recent years she has advised Morgan Stanley, Merrill Lynch, and Strategic Value Partners on a number of real estate finance transactions.
Christiane also has a great deal of experience advising international and institutional investors on the acquisition of commercial properties and portfolios, including lease negotiations and the alignment of property and asset management agreements. She has advised on the restructuring of real estate investments, liquidation of properties, and the acquisition of nonperforming loans as well.
Prior to joining Jones Day, Christiane worked for several years in the litigation department of an international law firm in Germany.
