While attending FSU, he participated in the Children's Advocacy Center clinic, assisting children and their parents with criminal and civil legal cases. Ford was born and raised in Titusville, Florida . He attended the University of Central Florida (UCF) and graduated with a BA degree. While attending UCF he was heavily involved in a variety of campus activities, including Student Government, writing for the school paper, and numerous honor societies and organizations. There, he developed a strong connection with the Central Florida community and the University. He regularly volunteers his time working with student organizations and often represents college and high school students in legal matters.
