While the 2005 changes in the bankruptcy code do make filing for Chapter 7 more difficult, the majority of our clients are still able to obtain a Chapter 7 bankruptcy. If they do not qualify for a Chapter 7, they will likely qualify for a Chapter 13 bankruptcy, which is essentially a reorganization of your debt.
