I began practicing law in 1991 with the law firm of Speer & Holliday, one of the oldest firms in Johnson County, Kansas. In 2005, I left the partnership  to open my solo practice. I now am able to offer my clients a more focused approach, limiting my practice to a few narrow areas of law. I work closely with my assistant, Sandy Zebley, so that we can provide our clients with the quality of representation necessary to protect their interests.

Our clients have unique needs and can be exceptionally vulnerable - among them you will find:

• Minors facing criminal charges in the  juvenile law system 
• Parents, grandparents, other family members, and foster care parents working on behalf of at-risk children in child in need of care cases involving placement of children outside the home and in the foster care system

As an attorney with extensive experience in foster care and juvenile law I understand the subtle but important points necessary to protect minors in courts and child care arenas.
