John Claassen practices civil litigation in state and federal courts, primarily in Northern California. Mr. Claassen recieved his law degree for Georgetown University and is currently memeber of California State Bar and Alameda County Bar Association.

Mr. Claassen represents businesses and individuals in a variety of civil litigation matters, including in state and federal courts and on appeal. Over the past 18 months highlights include but are not limited to, the following:

• Secure writ of attachment against unlicensed contractor in action for breach of construction contract, fraud, and conversion.
• Secure of writ of mandate from California Court of Appeal after the trial court erroneously granted summary adjudication to the record owner in action to quiet title on clients' claim of adverse possession.
• Representing defendants, secure settlement of approximately 1/8'th of the value of a collections action brought by formerly prominent, now defunct law firm against a former client.
• Representing defendants, secure settlement at zero percent of debt collection claim after cross-claiming against the plaintiff's law firm for violation of the Federal Fair Debt Collection Practices Act.
• Representing purchaser of the the assets of an on-line advertising space, seek payment from seller for failure to make payments required by ancillary services agreement.
• Represent victim in personal injuries action against public entities.
• Represent restricted securities holder in action against NASDAQ listed company for wrongful refusal to transfer shares in violation of state commercial law, and for conversion.
• Represent occupants in action for adverse possession.
