Practice

Mr. Draper’s practice includes international arbitrations relating to oil and gas, transportation, pharmaceuticals, and construction under the auspices of a variety of arbitral institutions. He also represents US and non-US companies before US courts in litigation involving public international and US law.

Prior to joining WilmerHale, Mr. Draper worked as an attorney for the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe, where he provided legal advice on international and comparative law to the High Commissioner on National Minorities.

Mr. Draper is admitted to practice in the State of New York and before the United States District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York.

Experience

Mr. Draper has significant recent international arbitration and litigation experience, including:

• Representing a multinational energy company in UNCITRAL arbitrations related to its exploration and production and marketing businesses
• Representing a leading US intermodal logistics company in an ICC arbitration based in Mexico City, Mexico
• Ongoing representation of a clinical research laboratory in an UNCITRAL arbitration related to its work for a pharmaceuticals manufacturer
• Ongoing representation of leading German companies in litigation related to international negotiations resolving asserted World War II claims
