Kevin Andrew Chambers is a senior associate in the firm's Securities Department, and a member of the Securities Litigation and Enforcement Practice Group. He joined the firm as an associate in 2004 and returned in 2007 after completing an appointment as a judicial clerk on the United States Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit. Mr. Chambers focuses on litigation and securities enforcement matters.

Practice

Mr. Chambers' practice includes representation of public accounting firms and publicly traded corporations under SEC inquiry as well as defending corporations against litigation by investors and creditors. He has also worked on pro bono matters designed to secure for schoolchildren a free and adequate public education as guaranteed by many states' constitutions.

Prior to pursuing his law career, Mr. Chambers practiced both public and private accounting. From 1997 to 2000, he was an independent auditor for Ernst & Young, LLP in New York, primarily serving clients in the financial, banking and government sectors. He also served as a senior business process consultant for Toyota Motor Sales, Inc. in Torrance, California from 2000 to 2001.

Professional Activities

Mr. Chambers is a certified public accountant licensed in New York State and affiliated with the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the National Association of Black Accountants and the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants. He sits on the Board of Directors of the University at Albany Alumni Association and on the Executive Committee of the Yale Law School Association.
