Lauren Brunswick is a senior associate in the firm's Litigation/Controversy Department. She joined the firm in 2004.

Practice

Ms. Brunswick's practice entails representation of investment companies and investment managers. She also has worked on matters involving commercial law, real estate, tax and litigation, and has assisted in the production of Securities and Exchange Commission documentation and corporate filings.

As part of her pro bono practice, Ms. Brunswick serves on the WilmerHale team that represents six men detained at the US Naval Base in Guantanamo Bay, Cuba. She has also worked as a legal advocate in the Children's Disability Unit at Community Legal Services in Philadelphia.

Honors and Awards

Ms. Brunswick was the recipient of the Boston Bar Association's 2007 President's Award for her work on behalf of the pro bono clients detained at Guantanamo Bay.

Ms. Brunwick was the recipient of the Frank H. Gelman Prize for Real Property and Real Estate Transactions, and the P. Pemberton Morris Prize for Evidence, Pleading and Practice at the University of Pennsylvania Law School. At Brown University, she was awarded the William Gaston Scholarship for Excellence in International Relations.
