Lawyer Overview
Mathieu Farge's practice focuses on environmental law. He handles environmental audits and due diligence in corporate and M&A transactions as well as in real estate transactions. He advises clients on French and EU environmental regulations and compliance issues. Mathieu also represents clients before French administrative, civil, and criminal courts in litigation matters involving environmental laws.
Prior to joining Jones Day, Mathieu worked as an associate at a major U.S. law firm in its Washington, D.C. and Paris offices, focusing primarily on environmental law.
Mathieu is a member and former vice chair of the International Environmental Law Committee of the American Bar Association's Section on International Law and of the New York State Bar Association. He is a member and former president of the Environmental Lawyers Association, Paris, France.
