Lawyer Overview

When David Goldfarb was growing up, he always knew what he wanted to be: a lawyer. Meanwhile he felt compelled to help kids, serving as a camp counselor and as a pre-school assistant. No wonder that in college he majored in psychology, and in law school worked as a certified intern in Florida 's Department of Children and Family Services. His passion is to make sure people are not manipulated by the system, and he sees his prior legal experience as a valuable preparation for his practice of family law which he considers his calling in life.

That experience has included Assistant Florida State Attorney with the Miami-Dade County State Attorney's Office where he progressed through the positions of County Court Prosecutor, Juvenile Division Prosecutor, Chief Prosecutor (Juvenile Division), Felony Trial Prosecutor, and Supervising Felony Prosecutor. Mr. Goldfarb has practiced Labor Law and defended Labor Unions such as American Airlines and Southwest Airlines, has conducted Labor arbitrations, and has defended criminal cases in both state and federal court in Miami-Dade, Broward County, and Palm Beach County . He has also practiced as a plaintiff's attorney litigating nursing home cases, assisted living center and group home abuse, and neglect cases in Arizona .
