Dr. Lin Yu specializes in U.S. and foreign patent prosecution in the areas of biotechnology, chemistry, and pharmaceuticals, with an emphasis on small molecule pharmaceuticals and medicinal chemistry. Lin also works on the preparation of noninfringement, invalidity, and freedom-to-operate opinions.

Lin has more than 12 years of experience as a medicinal chemist in the pharmaceutical and biotech industry. His scientific experience is predominantly in organic and medicinal chemistry and includes the discovery of small molecule drug candidates in a variety of therapeutic areas, such as anti-inflammatories, anti-cancer therapies, cardiovascular modulators, and anti-infective agents. In addition, he cofounded a small molecule drug discovery company, leading project teams on small molecule drug discovery.

Lin is coauthor of 24 scientific publications and co-inventor on more than 20 patents in the areas of small molecule drug discovery.
