Lawyer Overview
Jake Stump focuses his practice in complex commercial and construction litigation. Mr. Stump represents developers, contractors, suppliers and design professionals in all aspects of the construction process. He also represents individuals and corporate entities in a variety of business-related and contractual disputes.
Prior to joining Baker Hostetler in the summer of 2008, Mr. Stump was an associate with Lowndes, Drosdick, Doster, Kantor & Reed, PA. He is a member of the Florida Bar, the American Bar Association and the Orange County Bar Association.
Mr. Stump currently serves on the Board of Directors of COMPACT, a partnership between local businesses and Orange County public schools aimed at eliminating the growing deficit in the educational system. In addition, he served as Coordinating Editor for the “Survey of State Class Action Law,” published in Newberg on Class Actions from 2006-2008.
