Prior to joining Jones Day, Suzanne worked as a patent agent at Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati and Knobbe Martens Olson & Bear LLP, both in San Diego. Before becoming a patent agent, Suzanne obtained a Ph.D. from the University of California, Riverside, where she focused on the biochemical characterization and subcellular localization of a stress-induced protein. Prior to attending graduate school, Suzanne worked as a research assistant in biochemistry and plant biology laboratories.
