Lawyer Overview
Stefan Schneider advises on all aspects of German business and corporate law. He focuses his practice on national and international private equity transactions, mergers and acquisitions, as well as corporate reorganizations and restructurings. He has represented clients in the structuring, negotiating, and documenting of transactions, including debt finance. Prior to joining Jones Day in May 2009, Stefan worked more than four years in the Munich office of a major U.S. law firm.
Stefan has worked on leveraged buyouts, private equity matters, and secured lending matters for Bain Capital, Golden Gate Capital, Madison Dearborn Partners, Infor Global Solutions, Gilde Buy-Out Partners, Audax Group, Ideal Standard Germany, Findos Investors, and others.
He is a member of the Rechtsanwaltskammer München (Munich bar) and the German Bar Association and its Firm Management Working Group.
