Jayne A. Pearman was born on December 18, 1958 in San Diego, California. She attended Southern Methodist University from1977-1979 and attended the University of Missouri-Columbia from1979-1981 where she received her BSBA in Accounting, Cum Laude in 1981. She then attended the University of Missouri-Columbia School of Law where she received her Juris Doctor in 1984, Cum Laude. Her honors and achievements included the Dean's List; Missouri Law Review; Order of the Coif; and American Jurisprudence Awards in Criminal Law and Professional Responsibility. Her professional memberships include The Missouri Bar; The Kansas Bar; The Kansas City Metropolitan Bar Association - Family Law Committee; and The Johnson County Kansas Bar Association - Family Law Committee. Jayne A. Pearman has been practicing law in the Kansas City metropolitan area for over twenty years since her graduation from law school in 1984, initially focusing her practice in personal injury and general civil litigation and moving into exclusively practicing in the Family Law area in the mid-1980's. She has tried numerous jury trials and trials to the bench as well, both with great success.

Jayne A. Pearman is involved in a wide variety of community activities and events. Professionally, she is a member of the Missouri and Kansas Bar Associations, the Kansas City Metropolitan Bar Association, the Jackson County, Missouri and Johnson County, Kansas local bar associations and the Family Law sections in both Kansas and Missouri. Jayne A. Pearman provides voluntary pro bono services to various individuals in need of legal help, as well as pro bono services through the local bar associations. Jayne A. Pearman regularly adopts needy families in our community during the holidays.
