Lawyer Overview

Adam Smith is an associate in Glaser Weil's Las Vegas office.  Mr. Smith practices in all areas of business litigation, including contract and real estate disputes, title insurance and escrow transactions, general construction and construction liens, commercial evictions, landlord-tenant disputes, shareholder disputes and Anti-SLAPP lawsuits.  Mr. Smith is experienced in representing a variety of clients, including casinos, title and escrow companies, developers, contractors, individuals and businesses of all sizes.

Mr. Smith has been recognized as a Rising Star in the 2009 edition of the Mountain States Super Lawyers edition.  Prior to attending law school, Mr. Smith was a forensic accountant with Arthur Andersen, LLP and Huron Consulting Group.

Mr. Smith received his juris doctor from Northwestern University in 2005 where he received the Harold Washington Leadership Award and the Amy Sherman Team Leadership Award.  While in law school, Mr. Smith volunteered as a pro bono mediator for the Clark County Circuit Court.  Mr. Smith received his B.S. in Accountancy from the University of Illinois in 2000.

Mr. Smith is a member of the State Bar of Nevada and is licensed to practice before all state and federal courts in Nevada.
