Glen Gesicki is an associate with Foley & Lardner, and a member of the firm's Chemical & Pharmaceutical and IP Litigation Practices.

Prior to joining Foley, Mr. Gesicki was an associate with Kelley Drye & Warren LLP, where he gained experience preparing and prosecuting United States and foreign patent applications in the pharmaceutical and communications fields. He also participated in preparing non-infringement, invalidity, and freedom to operate opinions and participated in a due diligence review of a major corporation's patent portfolio.

Prior to law school, Mr. Gesicki was a research medicinal chemist with G. D. Searle & Company, where he gained extensive knowledge in the fields of medicinal chemistry, synthetic organic chemistry, and pharmacology. He is a co-inventor on two U.S. patents.

Mr. Gesicki earned his Juris Doctorate from DePaul University College of Law (summa cum laude, 2004), where he was elected to the Order of the Coif and was a member of the Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society. While in law school, Mr. Gesicki worked as a judicial extern for the Honorable Amy J. St. Eve at the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois. He earned his Master of Science and his Bachelor of Science in chemistry from the University of Illinois at Chicago.

Mr. Gesicki is admitted to practice in Illinois and before the United States Patent & Trademark Office and the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois.
