Melissa A. Weinberger is an experienced trial lawyer in all areas of misdemeanor and felony representation. She devotes her practice to criminal defense of individuals and corporations in all local, state, and federal courts. In one state court trial where Ms. Weinberger was lead counsel, her client was acquitted of two counts and was convicted only of a municipal code violation, the most minor count charged. She also writes and successfully argues many motions including motions to suppress, motions to dismiss, and federal sentencing memoranda.

In law school, Ms. Weinberger was an editor for the Loyola International and Comparative Law Review and served as a class representative and Evening Student Body Social Chair. She graduated magna cum laude from American University in Washington, D.C. in 1999, where she was in the University Honors Program and elected to Phi Beta Kappa.
