Cynthia M. Burke has been an attorney for twelve years, specializing in real estate, bankruptcy, probate, estates, trusts and wills, general practice, divorce, and litigation. 

Cynthia graduated cum laude and received awards for excellence in contract law from St. John's University School of Law in 1997.  She obtained her Bachelor of Science degree cum laude at St. John's University in 1994.  Since graduating, she was invited by St. John's to act as a Judge for the Edward J. Hart Memorial Mock Trial Competition, and was named the February 2006 pro bono attorney of the month by the Nassau County Bar Association.  She is admitted to practice law in New York and Florida, and the Eastern and Southern District Federal Courts of New York.

Cynthia has had much experience in many areas of law, and has been successful in both prosecuting and defending motions, appellate matters, conducting trials, and helping persons with their individual legal problems.  She likes to take a practical approach when guiding clients.  If settlement is not possible, then she is not afraid to take the case to court. 

With respect to real estate matters, Cynthia has an attention to detail, and in particular, makes sure that all title problems are addressed prior to closing, whether representing a buyer or seller. 

Cynthia also handles other aspects of real estate, including landlord-tenant law, Leases, and real estate litigation matters.
