Gautham Bodepudi is an associate with Foley & Lardner. He is a member of the firm's Intellectual Property Litigation and Electronics Practices.

Mr. Bodepudi's experience includes drafting numerous patent applications that collectively cover various technology areas such as device fabrication, telecommunications, signal processing, transistor‑level circuit design, computer science, and mechanical engineering. He has prosecuted a variety of patent applications, many of which became patented. Mr. Bodepudi has also formulated a prosecution strategy for an international patent portfolio of an S&P 500 company.

Prior to joining Foley, Mr. Bodepudi was an associate, as well as a summer associate, at McDonnell Boehnen Hulbert & Berghoff LLP. While attending law school, he worked as a summer associate at Baker Botts LLP, and as an intern at the Legal Assistance Foundation in Chicago. He also has experience working as an independent researcher at the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign.

Mr. Bodepudi received his J.D. in 2005 from the University of Chicago Law School, where he served as a Moot Court judge, and was a member of the Intellectual Property Legal Society. He earned a B.S. in electrical engineering (2002) from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign.

Mr. Bodepudi is admitted to practice in Illinois, and before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.
