After nearly a decade of working with small and medium sized law firms, Lori Barkus opened the client-centered practice, offering affordable and quality representation. After extensive research into the abusive and often deceptive lending practices inflicted on unsuspecting homeowners, and the continuation of these practices in the court system, where foreclosures are rushed to completion without the bank even having to prove that it is the owner of the mortgage, the firm expanded its practice to include foreclosure defense.
