I am a criminal defense trial lawyer.  My law practice is limited exclusively to the defense of criminal law matters in state and federal court.

I established my own criminal defense practice in June of 1984.  Prior to that, I worked as a state prosecutor.  Combined, I have over twenty-seven years experience as a trial lawyer.  During my career, I have worked extensively with judges, prosecutors, defense lawyers, police officers, investigators, probation officers, witnesses and jurors.

I am committed to providing the highest quality legal representation in criminal law matters.  In every case, my primary objective is to secure and protect my client's liberty and freedom.

Every case requires investigation, preparation, negotiation, consultation and advice.  By investigating the facts of the case, preparing the case for trial and understanding my client's objectives, I try to resolve the case in a manner favorable to my client.  I strive to give my client the best information and advice necessary for him or her to make the best decisions possible to achieve a satisfactory result.
