She graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point cum laude with a B.A. in Political Science and in English. During law school, Ms. Slota participated in the University of Wisconsin Family Law Clinic, where she assisted clients with CHIPS (child in need of protective services), custody and placement, divorce, and child support issues.
