Lawyer Overview
Attorney Christopher S. Krimmer concentrates his practice in the areas of divorce litigation and cooperative divorce, and estate planning.
He graduated cum laude from the University of Wisconsin Law School in 1997 and cum laude from the University of Wisconsin at Milwaukee in 1994. Mr. Krimmer has taught Consumer Law at Marquette Law School, and is on the faculty of the University of Phoenix- Brookfield Campus, where he teaches Business and Regulatory Law. He frequently speaks across the state on legal issues including estate planning and non-traditional family protections.
Prior to joining Balisle & Roberson, S.C., Mr. Krimmer established the Legal Services Program of the AIDS Resource Center of Wisconsin, the first statewide HIV legal services program providing free legal representation to persons living with HIV and AIDS. Mr. Krimmer is a cooperating attorney for the Lambda Legal Education and Defense Fund and the American Civil Liberties Union. Mr. Krimmer is the author of “HIV Confidentiality in Wisconsin”, which was published in the Wisconsin Lawyer, February, 2003. He is a member of Downtown Madison, Inc. Mr. Krimmer is licensed to practice in the State of Wisconsin, the U.S. Federal Eastern District of Wisconsin and the U.S. Federal Western District of Wisconsin.
